ASSISTANT COACH

MIDDLETOWN PARK AND REC ROWING PROGRAM

  • Assisted with seasonal preparations for the ship Brilliant at Mystic Seaport;
  • Tasks included cleaning, organizing, sanding, painting and varnishing;
  • Also assisted in the rigging loft in support of the restoration of the historic whaling vessel, the Morgan.

  • Assisted the boys high school varsity team, with boat coaching and academic support;
  • As assistant men's coach, led practices on land and water, teaching rowing technique and strength training;
  • In addition, one afternoon each week was spent on academic tutoring and SAT prep.
